Walkertown Fire Department serves the citizens of the Town of Walkertown and the Northeast Fire District in Northeastern Forsyth County in the Northern Piedmont section of Northwest North Carolina.  We provide fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical assist services to a community of approximately 6,000 citizens.  Our goal is a simple one, “to serve and protect the citizens of the community.

Our Mission statement

“The mission statement of Walkertown Volunteer Fire Department is to protect and serve the citizens of the fire and rescue district from the ravages of fire and any other hazards that may occur.”

“To accomplish this, Walkertown Volunteer fire department provides response to fires, rescues, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies as they happen.  These services are provided immediately to any person who has a need anywhere within the district of Walkertown Volunteer Fire Department, by promptly serving those in need.”
